Directions to the University of Guelph

AIR TRANSPORTATION 

The Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) located in Toronto, ON is a 1 hour drive from Guelph, with bus and train service available.

The Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF) located in Breslau, ON is a full-service, customer friendly facility which supports commercial, corporate and general aviation. The Airport is only 10 minutes from Hwy. 401 and within a 25 minute drive from the University of Guelph.

**Red Car Shuttle** from Airports and Train Stations

Your online booking will include a $10.00 (CAD) pre-tax discount per direction ($20.00 (CAD) discount on round trip) from Red Car’s current published rates.

Discounts apply to the Shared Ride Shuttle Service for ground transportation to and from Guelph and area for Toronto International Airport (Pearson)

Your online booking will be billed immediately and you will receive an email confirmation including your check-in location at the airport.  You are not booked until you have received a confirmation form with confirmation numbers.

 **Passengers requiring service to and from Hamilton International Airport (Munroe), Waterloo International Airport, Toronto Island Airport (Billy Bishop) or Toronto Union Station may book service using Red Car’s regular online booking system at their regular published rates. RAIL

Via Rail provides inter‐city passenger rail service. 

GO Transit commuter train service is also available from Toronto Union Station (Toronto, ON) OR from Kitchener GO station (Kitchener, ON) to Guelph Central Go (Guelph, ON). Use the GO TRANSIT PLANNING TOOL to plan your trip!

HIGHWAYS

  • Highway 401 to Toronto and London. 
  • Highway 7 to Kitchener and Acton. 
  • Highway 6 to Hamilton and Owen Sound. This highway is known as the Hanlon Expressway for most of its length inside the city.
