How to use successive ionization energies and Excel to introduce students to a model for energy levels like 1s, 2s, 2p, for the first 20 elements. Simpler then the traditional historical approach.

Experience inexpensive, microscale method of Electrolysis. Build the apparatus and do two activities. Take home Electrolysis and the stuff you build. We dedicate this session to Irwin Talesnick.
